The Gift Shop is filled with Christmas treasures, steins, and cuckoo clocks, while the Tracht Shop has everything you need to complete your look with a dirndl, lederhosen, or traditional accessories.

Encounter the enchanting Christkind, the fairy-like figure from German tradition who spreads joy and gifts to children. But beware—the Grinch is also making an appearance, stirring up some mischievous holiday fun!

Celebrate the season with a variety of festive activities for all ages! Kids can join the Lantern Parade alongside Santa and the Christkind, winding through the market and culminating in a dazzling tree lighting ceremony. Enjoy live holiday music from local school choirs and bands, filling the Christkindlmarkt with cheer. Our Volkstanzgruppe brings German tradition to life with authentic folk dances, including a fun audience participation dance for everyone tojoin. For those looking for a playful challenge, test your strength in the Santa Sack Holding Contest, a festive twist on a classic stein-holding competition.

Festive Market Fun

Join us as we share the holiday cheer and excitement of an authentic German Outdoor Christmas market! Christmas cakes, cookies, Brats (the kind you eat), Glühwein, Santa, and Christmas Carols. It’s the perfect place for grown-ups and the little ones to get in the spirit of Christmas!

Experience the old-world charm of the holidays at the American German Club’s Christkindlmarkt and create lasting memories while beginning new traditions with family and friends.

Delights for All Ages

Our seating areas provide visitors with a place to relax, enjoy the ambience and of course, all our delightful food and drinks. Brats and German delicacies such as sweet holiday cakes, cookies and more to satisfy all tastes. The not to be missed Glühwein (hot spice-mulled wine) and imported beers, wines and schnapps will be available for the grown-ups. We’ve got kids holiday crafts, activities and carnival rides!

Performances & Presents

The Christkindlmarkt hosts live entertainment throughout each day, highlighting young community performers such as school choirs and jazz bands, folk dancers and more. Our vendors will help you check off your holiday shopping lists with their unique wares including Christmas ornaments and other holiday related items.

Family Fun After Dusk

After dusk, families are invited to participate in a lantern parade during which they are led through the market by Santa and the Christkind, while singing classic German and American holiday songs. The highlight of the event will be the Tree Lighting by Santa at around 6:30 pm.

There will be free kids activities and rides included with admission, plus a few special activities at a nominal cost. Kids will also have plenty of photo ops with Santa, the Christkind and other favorite storybook characters.

Where is the event held?

Oktoberfest takes place at the American German Club, 5111 Lantana Road, Lake Worth, FL. Festivities are held outside under our pavilion and tent. We also have a shaded picnic area. Event is held rain or shine.

Where do I park?

Free on -site parking is available at the club. Uber and Lyft drop off/pick up is located at the intersection of Lantana Road and Myers Road.

What to bring?

You are welcome to bring your own stein (empty upon entry) to enjoy your beverages throughout the event.

What not to bring

Outside food and drinks are not allowed unless required for medical reasons or infant formula. Only service animals are allowed. Pets of any kind are not permitted to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests. Only small personal bags or diaper bags are allowed. No large bags, backpacks, or coolers. Weapons are prohibited on the premises.
