What once was meant to frighten youngsters into good behavior, Krampus Nacht in Europe has taken a twist over the decades and become a fun night of mischief, dancing, and spectating as the “Krampus” of German legend takes over.
~~This event is geared toward and most enjoyed by adults; it is a frighteningly fun kind of grown-up Christmas party! ~~
We will showcase a “Krampuslauf" (aka Krampus Run); a parade of many Krampus creatures having wild fun! Our Krampus crew will consist of AGC members, and we welcome all spectators, both naughty and nice.
This one-of-a-kind evening will feature a DJ to get you dancing in the gloomy evening shade, plus lots of photo ops with the many Krampuses.
German beer, wines, and foods will be available for purchase, and the infamous Jäger Haus will serve as Krampus Central with German schnapps, cocktails, and more.
$5 entry and parking are free.
TICKETS ARE LIMITED; RESERVE YOUR ENTRY EARLY!
No tickets will be sold at the gate.
ABOUT THE LEGEND OF KRAMPUS:
So the story is told, St. Nicholas and Krampus visit children on the 5th night of December. Saint Nicholas rewards the well-behaved children with modest gifts such as oranges, dried fruit, walnuts and chocolate, whilst the badly behaved ones only receive punishment with birch rods.
